Announces New Software Delivery Policy


Starting in 2010, Autodesk will make software download the default method of
delivering software upgrades to Autodesk® Subscription customers in the
United States. Autodesk Subscription Software Coordinators will be notified
by email that their software upgrade is available to download. They will not
automatically receive a box.
New Product Introductions -- AutoCAD®
Plant 3D is available as of April 1
Autodesk’s
new AutoCAD® Plant 3D 2010 software will be available
from Hagerman & Company as of April 1, 2010. One of a
handful of Autodesk resellers authorized to sell and support
Plant Solutions, Hagerman has rapidly developed a quality
clientele of Plant software users.
Autodesk Simplified Pricing begins March 16
Autodesk is introducing a new, streamlined upgrade pricing model on March 16,
2010. This change only affects software not covered by Autodesk Subscription.
Under Autodesk's current upgrade pricing model (without Autodesk Subscription)
the price of your upgrade depends on which product release you own. After March
15, 2010, your upgrade from any of the three previous software releases will
cost 50 percent of the price of a new license, no matter which release you own.
