Hagerman offers comprehensive FM solution with CenterStone

Hagerman & Company offers CenterStone for our customers who need a solution targeted specifically for facilities management. CenterStone is very reasonably priced, easy to use and implement, and is the number-one rated facility management solution on the market by the Gartner Group.

Now, your organization is probably already using computer-aided design or BIM software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture or Revit and performing some facility management (FM) functions with it, so why do you need a solution specifically designed for FM such as CenterStone?

-CAD/BIM software is mainly for design and can only do a very limited amount of space management and space management reporting for a single building.

-CenterStone can help you manage and track all of your sites and buildings and do enterprise-wide tracking and reporting. Organization management desires enterprise-wide reporting, not just building-level reporting.

-CenterStone is a web-based application allowing it to be easily used across your entire organization. Since AutoCAD and Revit are desktop-based, it makes integrated enterprise-wide usage and data sharing difficult

-In addition, CenterStone can address a much broader set of users and totally integrated functionality, including floor plan access, full space management, cost centers, vacancies, move management, human resources, facility services vendors (such as HVAC), equipment management, work orders, lease management, light project management etc.

-CenterStone has a huge variety of built-in reports for all of the above functions and a report generator that allows you to build custom reports related to all of these functions and tailored to your needs.

Although CenterStone can do all of the above things, you can start with one or two areas of focus and expand in the future. This can allow you to replace multiple point solutions with a single integrated solution. While CenterStone uses your CAD data, in most cases only about 10% of the users of FM solutions are CAD users themselves. Besides the lack of FM functionality, making everyone in an organization involved in FM have to do it via buying, learning and using CAD would not be feasible.

In many case, CenterStone systems are tied into and integrated with an organizations existing HR and accounting solutions. Also, some companies might get CenterStone, but still continue using an existing work order or lease management system for at least a while. CenterStone employs web-based tools that allow all users in your organization read-only access to the latest FM data, reports and drawings along with work order/move requests.
