Hagerman & Company published its first newsletter, then known
as the ?CAD/CAM Bulletin,? in the summer of 1992. This was my first
project assignment in what was then my new marketing role with Hagerman
& Company. The original newsletter was a 12-16 page publication which
was printed and mailed quarterly to our customer base. As email gained
in popularity we began an email version and eventually mailed our last
hard copy newsletter. Our email newsletter became a monthly publication
and today is published in three versions for different audiences: AEC,
Manufacturing (Midwest/Midsouth), and Manufacturing (California).
It?s now time to make another change. We realize that it?s important to
send only the information our customers want to receive, and that many
of you get more emails than you can possibly read and respond to in one
day. In an effort to send you only the most pertinent emails, we have
decided to ask our entire readership to re-opt-in if they wish to
continue receiving the newsletter as a dedicated email. The newsletter
will still be published monthly, and will be available on our website
and via links from other emails that we send, such as our ?upcoming
training & events? emails.

In addition, you
can decide which types of email you want to receive (or not). Anyone who
responds between now and January 31, 2009 will be entered to win a
variety of prizes, including an MP3 player, digital picture frames, and

lucky recipients on February 2.
We still consider the newsletter to be a very important communication
