What?s your Bailout?

American Firms Cry Uncle, Seek Aid

As a member of the small business community ? a group that is not likely to receive federal assistance just because the government has created a tragic and completely unnecessary crisis ? we have to despair of the giant corporations seeking bailouts, loans, or investment from the USA.

I guess if you don?t have lots of capital you just have to get by with what you have ? the determination and willingness to risk and suffer loss when things are bad; to work, and hope for a better day. But if your footprint runs well into the billions - well, good old Uncle Sam can be counted on to step in with relief for you, after it makes such a mess of the economy that it no longer functions.

That would seem to be the message of the times.

Realizing that federal aid for most of our customers is out of the question, we wish to offer them our own modest, alternative bailout package ? productivity tools that help to cut costs and increase productivity. The software and services we provide can help put your company on a sounder path, with a better future. Isn?t that what we really need, anyway? I don?t think we all want to work for Uncle Sam, or have him take more control over our lives than is already the case.

Hopefully, as the ?crisis? winds down, and we see how much damage has been done by all the intervention, there will still be enterprising individuals willing to take risk for profit and add to the national income through the old fashioned means of work, sacrifice, and integrity. These people we are proud to have as our customers.
