bullet

Industrial Designers who want to create and capture initial design concepts in a digital format that will translate into a CAD model.

Sales and Marketing professionals who use photographs of physical prototypes and actual products in their work.

These are just some of the scenarios in which you may benefit from Autodesk Showcase or AliasStudio.

What can these solutions do for me?

Alias Studio is a powerful tool that enables users to generate designs that communicate your brand, and develop innovative new product designs in less time and at a lower cost—from ideation sketching to design communication. Work digitally from project outset with best-in-class industrial design tools, capturing your ideas digitally from initial sketches through to 3D concept models. Models can then be easily shared with the engineering team using a common file format, allowing a product’s industrial design data to be incorporated into the digital prototype.

Autodesk Showcase software creates real-time accurate, photorealistic imagery from 3D digital design data to communicate form and brand character. This solution allows for an efficient and economical design review process, as team members can work locally or via remote sessions. Using data from Autodesk AliasStudio or a CAD program such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or ProEngineer, Autodesk Showcase allows design model changes on the fly while preparing imagery for design reviews, eliminating the need to start the rendering process over again.
