Hagerman & Company donation equips schools with latest technology
Students in the Okaw Valley School District are enjoying
upgraded computer equipment, thanks to a donation from
Hagerman & Company. Earlier this year, the company supplied
the district with 25 PCs and monitors. The Okaw Valley
School district comprises schools in Bethany and Findlay,
Ill., just east of Hagerman and Company headquarters in Mt.
Zion, Ill.

Doug McCausland, Okaw Valley School
District technology director said the
donation of the newer, faster PCs and
monitors will allow the schools to have more
machines available for student's use.
"In the grade schools, the computers will be used in the
libraries and for classroom labs, where individual students
can practice their reading or math skills," he said. "The
high school computer lab will be used for classes including
Web design and keyboarding."
The equipment is already being used in several locations
throughout the district. All the machines are scheduled to
be in place for the start of the 2006-07 school year.
