Change of Spaces in ADT 2007

Quick Take: Change of Spaces in Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2007

Spaces generated in ADT 07 once placed are by default associative to the space it is placed in. Select your Auto Space Generate Tool and place spaces as needed.

After placement of the spaces you will see they are associated to the area the space was placed.

From the pop-up box you can change the style, type, boundary, and tag info, as well as other new tools.

Once the space is selected you see there are no grips to change the space.

If you select the space and go into your properties you will see a drop down box that reads "Associative." It's default is set to "Yes;" change this to "No."

You will now be able to change your space and the adjustment grips will appear now.

Then just switch it back to "Yes" after you are finished with the changes to return to Associative.
