Hagerman Events Showcase New Technologies
The first Autodesk Inventor Symposium and User Conference was held in St.
Louis
on March 31 and was very well received. A similar event is being held in
Hoffman Estates, Illinois, on April 28 at the Stonegate Conference Center,
for our Chicago-area
customers and prospects.
We plan to hold similar events in Indiana and Tennessee later this year.
We’re learning from each event how to make the next one more useful to our
customers. Right now, showing the latest technology from Autodesk, including
new releases of Inventor and AutoCAD, are high on the agenda.
In addition, the data management initiatives at Autodesk, including Vault
and Productstream ™ are gaining wide interest. We have found that 3D users
must have good data management tools to track the volume of data created in
the 3D environment. Vault is an excellent start, coming, as it does, free of
charge with each Inventor license.
Our consulting group is helping our customers deploy Vault in many sites
throughout the Midwest and Midsouth.
Our AEC group also recently hosted events showing the new releases of Revit and
Architectural Desktop in Chicago. The Revit event was held Tuesday, April 26,
featuring industry expert Mark Schmieding. The Architectural Desktop event
was held Wednesday, April 27, featuring renowned author Paul F. Aubin. Both
events were in the Conference Center at One East Wacker, 20th Floor. This
building is also the location of our new office which will be opening on the
31st floor on July 1. Similar events are planned for St. Louis, Memphis, and
Nashville in the near future.
We hope to see you soon at one of the Inventor Symposium and User Conference
or the AEC events.
