support services, and you may have taken advantage of
our services in the past. But, do you know what you’re really getting when
your company purchases training or a support contract with Hagerman &
Company? This article will give you an in-depth look at our organization,
and what we have to offer.
Autodesk Expertise
Hagerman & Company has offered Autodesk solutions, as well as training and
support for those products since 1984. Since that time, we have become the
4th largest Autodesk dealer in America with Mechanical, Architectural, and
Infastructure Authorizations. We also have our own software development
division, called The Software Machine®, which publishes Step-Savers®,
AutoSpeed®, AutoPlot®, AutoSplace Planner®, and QVP ConnectionTM.
About Our Instructors and Support Specialists
Hagerman & Company has always had a high technical to sales staff ratio. We
have a very high standard for our training and support staff, and expect
them to receive high marks from our customers (we survey every customer who
uses these services). Here are some things you may not know:

Hagerman & Company Training Options
We offer two basic types of training, customized and classroom.

Customized Training
With customized training, we tailor the class to your specific needs.
Training can be held in your office or in our training facility, and you
can train on your own hardware if you so desire. You have the
flexibility to schedule your training on the days you want, and in the
increments that you wish (4 half days vs. 2 full days, for example).
This type of training is more expensive, but many companies feel it’s
worth the extra cost.

Classroom Training
Classroom training is available on a fixed schedule at our training
facilities in each of our seven locations. This training has a specific
agenda, and most likely multiple companies will be taking the class at
the same time. This type of training is very cost-effective, and many of
our customers take advantage of these classes.
Customer Support Tools
We utilize two tools that can very effectively deal with support issues.
These are eBlvd and Camtasia software. eBlvd is a tool that allows us to
view the caller’s computer and watch as they manipulate the software, or it
can even allow us to take control of your system. This is an extremely
beneficial tool that many times resolves your issue much more quickly,
perhaps even avoiding a trip to your facility that we would otherwise have
to make. Camtasia software allows us to email small movies describing
necessary picks or methods. The obvious benefit to the customer is that you
are able to visually see the steps you need to take to solve your issue at
hand.
