Polling feature available inside each article

In November we instituted a new polling feature inside each newsletter article. This gives you, the reader, the opportunity to tell us what you like or dislike about an article, ask a question, or give any type of feedback that would help us improve our publication. Since that time, we have received only a few responses, but we do want to hear from you!

Those who have responded have written in with questions or other requests that need to be answered. (Please be sure to provide your contact information if you do this so we can respond) Others have chimed in with other comments or observations. Here are a couple of examples:

From E-Bulletin 25, November 2004 – Dennis Hagerman’s article “Hagerman opens new Memphis Facility,” one reader wrote: “Looking forward to the prospect of more training in Memphis. Also hope that the new office will offer a higher service level for us in the future.”

From E-Bulletin 26, December 2004 – David Hagerman’s article “CRM - When Friendly Customer Service Doesn’t Make You Customer-Friendly,” a reader responded “Boy, could Autodesk learn a lot from this article....They are not, nor ever have been customer-centric in my 15 yrs of dealing w/ them. The apparent performance issues w/ R7 of Revit^® is another example.”

In December, we sent our annual, animated greeting card via email. We were surprised by the magnitude of response to this piece. Respondents were asked to rate their favorite Christmas card, with the option to leave feedback. Below are the results. As you can see, we received a wide variety of responses! Although references to names and companies have been deleted, most of those who left objecting comments were not shy about using their names.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I preferred the message with the 2001 card, but it said "Happy Holidays" and not "Merry Christmas". America is a Christian Nation, however politically incorrect it is to say, it’s a fact, a Christian heritage we should be thankful to God for and should not shrink from. This Christmas, remember Christ, and why he came... so that would have the opportunity to follow Him and be saved from our sins... no greater gift can man receive

that was hard to choose, They all are really well done. It’s nice to see a company put that little extra during the holidays. have a safe holidays

2001 play a close 2nd.

All were good however, I like the 2001 Peace on earth. I have put that on my wish list.

But the snowballs are great!

I like the 2004 the best, but it plays too slow and irregularly

The most on message!

To me the 2001 card represented more of the original meaning of Christmas.

Tough to select the best. 2004 & 2002 were really good. I liked the earth in 2001.

A really difficult choice to make. They are all very good.

I think the reason for the season should be included in your card.We are celebrating the birth of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. A mention of CHRISTmas would be appropriate, eventhough it might not be politically correct.

Christmas is supposed to be a celebration of the birthday of Christ. Why have we become reluctant to express that?

2001 was the neatest graphics and most universal. 2002 was the funniest.
